Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
On arrival in Beijing, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel(booked by us) in Beijing.Free for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Beijing (B,L)
Pick you up from your hotel,and drive to visit Mutianyu Great Wall and Ming Tombs.On the way to Mutianyu Great Wall, you will visit a large scale jade processing factory, which will help you to know the processes of Chinese jade carving and Chinese jade culture.
- Mutianyu Great Wall: A beautiful section of the Great Wall with less crowded. It is known for its beautiful surroundings in seasons of the year, and hike it for 2 hours.Cable car is a good choice if one wants to get to the highest point and take the whole beautiful bird view.
- Ming Tombs: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
- Jade Carving Factory: It was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.
Day 3: Beijing (B,L)
After breakfast at your hotel, you visit the Forbidden City and Tian'anmen square.Then you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts or Chinese traditional medicine culture.After lunch,you visit Summer Palace.
- Tiananmen Square: The largest public square in the world.
- Forbidden City: The Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.
- Summer Palace: Originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty.
Day 4: Beijing-Luoyang by Flight(B,L)
After breakfast at your hotel, you visit the temple of Heaven,Hutong by rickshaw and have an attractive tour to Shi Cha Hai, the most beautiful area in center of Beijing.Then you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts or Chinese traditional medicine culture.In the later afternoon, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Luoyang. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.
- Temple of Heaven: The place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest.
- Hutong: You can enjoy the typical Chinese quadrangles, where you can experience the real life of ordinary people in Beijing, and many famous old buildings, like the drum tower, silver bridge, etc.
Day 5: Luoyang-Xi'an (by bullet train)
After breakfast at your hotel, you visit Shaolin Temple and Longmen Grottoes with lunch included.After finishing your tour in Luoyang, you are transferred back to Luoyang Longmen Railway Station. Then you take the high-speed train G2013 (19:17/20:52) to Xian.Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.
- Shaolin Temple: It is the birthplace of one of the world's famous martial arts movement. The temple is renowned as the No. 1 Temple Under Heaven and was first built in 495 during the Northern Wei period (386 to 534). It was served as an ancestral temple of Buddhism. Nowadays, the temple is world famous for Chinese martial arts, inscribed tablets, murals of the Ming Dynasty, and ancient brick-and-stone pagodas, erected during Tang and Qing dynasties (618 to 1911). The temple is listed in World Heritage Sites in 2010.
- Longmen Grottoes: A treasure trove for ancient Buddhist cave art. This art was carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), when Buddhism was at its zenith in China.
Day 6: Xi'an (B,L,D)
After breakfast,you visit Terracotta Warriors and Big Goose Pagoda.In the evening,you will enjoy a Chinese dinner with "Dumpling Banquet" and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dancing and Music Show.After visits, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
- Terracotta Warriors: The Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC.
- Big Goose Pagoda: One of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China.It was built to store the scriptures and statues Xuan Zang had brought back from India.
- Tang Dynasty Show: It showcases the costumes, music, and dancing of China's golden age: the Tang dynasty (618-907).
Day 7: Xian -Shanghai by Flight (B,L)
After breakfast, Your day will start with a tour of Ancient City Wall.Then, fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.Then you visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower,Huangpu River and Nanjing Road.After the tour, transferred back to your hotel.
- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: One of the tallest TV towers in the world, known for its distinctive spheres, or "pearls", it stands across the river from the Bund, among the exciting architecture of the east bank.
- Nanjing Road: Most famous thoroughfare for shopping and entertainment in Shanghai
- Huangpu River: It is the sign of Shanghai. It supplies water to the 13 million people in the metropolis and is also important for navigation, fishery, tourism and receiving wastewater.
Day 8: Shanghai (B,L)
After breakfast,pick up from your hotel in Shanghai and visit Yuyuan Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, The Bund with lunch included.After the tour, transferred back to your hotel.
- Yuyuan Garden: Located in the center of the Old City next to the Chenghuangmiao in the city, is considered one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in the region.
- Jade Buddha Temple: the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai.The temple highlights its two magnificent white jade Burmese Buddha statues.
- Xintiandi: A leisure entertainment centre with catering, shopping, and an amazing nightlife to suit all tastes and moods, all in a romantic, distinctly Shanghai setting.
- The Bund: It has been a symbol of Shanghai since a hundred years.The picturesque bund with tall building of various tower over the river, looking as a museum of modern world architecture.
Day 9: Depart Shanghai (B)
